Daniel Lee is an artist at heart. He is known for his deep understanding of spatial planning, whether that be in design or art mediums.

Daniel received his bachelor’s in Interior Design from the University of North Texas with a focus in architecture. This gave him insight on the structural aspects of interior design. After graduating from college, Daniel worked under a designer for several years before opening Studio 7 in 2007. During this time, he designed several farm houses all over the country, combining new design elements with the old.

After 10 years of Studio 7, Daniel stepped into another realm of the interior design world and began working in the hard surfaces industry. He has now returned back to his roots and is collaborating with Tad Watts on interior design projects in Fort Worth, Santa Fe, and more.

“I like to bring design and art into a world that is chaos. We all want life to appear functional and perfect, when in fact, it isn’t. In both my art and design, I am inspired to take a common household or life problem and create an aesthetic solution.”
